HORISOCPE OF A BLUESMAN:
The three planets that oscillate around your groove; love, knowledge and regret, play a contemplative composition weaving hues of softness into the worn fabric of earthly cares...
bass tones thrust through the far reaches of the cosmos... quasars throb in hoarse tenor sax... tacheons traverse the firmament as stacatto piano tones... sprinkles of multidimensional sound...
pulsars sing in the medium of a lugubrious lyric iconography... time skips or tap dances an ancient routine... hallowed of all interstellar rituals... three planets fuse... love and pain unite in a cool-hot blue mantle of delight...
delight...

ReplyDeleteWhen I wrote this poem I was thinking about someone I had recently met and was using this poem to conduct a post introductory analysis... they were genuinely loving and like most people their hummanity was significantly touched by the pains, struggles and wounds of everyday life... this was something I felt that I could deal with especially since I am very blue by nature... Actually, most people who do not really know me would think I am this hyper, driven, happy go lucky kind of person, (unless you experience me at work), they never see the more significant blue side of me.
